Broadband line of sight systems are delivered via radio, laser and microwave depending on the requirement. It is an ideal way of providing voice, video or data links between two or more locations and is already used by businesses of all types.
Microwave • Licensed systems have an increased ranged with an unlimited data rate. • Ethernet, fast Ethernet, ATM, Gigabit Ethernet • Working ranges are from 1Km to 70Km (unlimited with hop links)
Radio • Point to point and point to multi-point systems • Licensed and unlicensed systems • Ranges up to 10Km with speeds up to 11Mb using the 2.4GHz unlicensed band • Licensed systems have a reduced range with a data rate of 3Mb • 5GHz unlicensed systems with speeds up to 54Mb will be available soon
Laser • Systems cover all mediums • Speeds up to 1Gb • Ranges up to 4Km in the UK
